Wholesale Banking provides financial solutions to businesses across the United States and globally. Our team is building the front-end platform that is modernizing Wells Fargo's Wholesale Banking front-end codebase while enforcing website performance optimization best practices, encapsulating the minutia of cross browser compatibility, supporting accessibility and cross web applications consistency and focusing on progressive enhancement by enabling a "mobile first" approach. You will be working with a small team of highly talented senior front-end developers and with cross-functional teams across the company to develop best in class shared component libraries for desktop and mobile web applications.
Team members support our focus on building strong customer relationships balanced with a strong risk mitigating and compliance-driven culture which firmly establishes those disciplines as critical to the success of our customers and company. They are accountable for execution of all applicable risk programs (Credit, Market, Financial Crimes, Operational, Regulatory Compliance), which includes effectively following and adhering to applicable Wells Fargo policies and procedures, appropriately fulfilling risk and compliance obligations, timely and effective escalation and remediation of issues, and making sound risk decisions. There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business unit's risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements.

Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Knowledge and understanding of accessibility methods and standards, Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), or section 508 compliance guidelines
Git or GitHub experience
Knowledge and understanding of Linux

Experience with Windows or Mac OS-X set up and usage for React JS development
Knowledge and understanding of technology architecture: solutions for web applications and web services

Experienced in web security and internationalization.
Ability to offer high level and detailed guidance on architectural, design and development options with proof of concept code wherever required.
