This is not your typical GIS job. We are a fortune 500 company, the largest commercial real estate firm in the world, and use location intelligence, specifically GIS, to drive smart real estate decisions for our clients. We are looking for a hybrid GIS Specialist / Developer (light) with a strong knowledge of 3D GIS systems and processes to maintain a proprietary system built atop ESRI's platform, specifically ArcGIS Pro. Candidates must also be able to speak passionately to their discipline and interact with our clients and sales professionals to deliver highly customized solutions. Extreme creativity and enthusiasm for GIS is an absolute must.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Create and edit existing 3D GIS assets using ArcGIS Pro, CityEngine, and/or CAD software (e.g. Rhino, sketchup).
Troubleshoot proprietary system errors and inefficiencies through general GIS and analytical processes.
Communicate with architects and developers to convert 3D models of new developments and integrate into system.
Develop and revise custom geoprocessing tools via Python to expedite 3D map production and extend current capabilities.
Consult with and advise sales professionals and management on geographic information available, analytical projects, and higher end products.
Build web mapping applications using html, js, and css and/or the desire to quickly learn in these areas.
Create story driven web apps, web scenes, and storymaps to tell smart real estate location stories, both 3D and 2D.
Maintain library of previously designed material for future use.
Proactively search for new and different data sources, integrating this into proprietary system.
Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university with a major or minor in Geography or related field; or Associates degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school, with training in GIS technology.
Requires 5 - 7 years of experience.
1-4 years of experience or advanced knowledge of ArcGIS Pro and experience with 3D procedural modelling software (CityEngine and/or Rhino preferred) preferred.
Strong familiarity using ArcGIS enterprise and ArcGIS Online preferred.
Basic knowledge of reactive frameworks (react, vue, etc) preferred.
Simple understanding of web application UI and UX preferred.
Strong Python scripting knowledge; experience working with ArcPy package preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills preferred.
Strong organizational and analytical skills preferred.
Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers preferred.
Ability to work quickly in a fast-paced environment preferred.

Geo-Database Management preferred.
Proficiency in ArcGIS Suite preferred.
Knowledge of commercial real estate terms and definitions, real estate analytical methods preferred.
