Lead and motivate Field Research and Data Intelligence teams that capture, clean and curate the best available real estate data from in-house and external sources and actively help CBRE professionals grow market share.
Effectively leverage our Digital & Technology (D&T) infrastructure, in partnership with Chief Data Officer, to deliver best-in-class data storage, retrieval and visualization systems.
Build effective partnerships with our Thought Leadership function, both nationally and in local markets, to deliver best-in-class Research content within local markets.
Drive world-class Field Research through leadership of local teams
Create and strengthen processes for Field Research data collection and own accountability with Sales Management and Market Leadership for data accuracy and timeliness
Ensure value-adding cooperation with Sales Management and Marketing in the local markets, leading to world-class solutions delivered to our professional for business development and client engagement
Partner with Broker Operating Platform, LMA business leaders and Research leaders to establish KPIs for Field Research Managers for data collection & enrichment, content and reporting
Drive adoption and further development of our proprietary data system around market-level, building-level and space-level data using consistent methodologies and definitions
Produce best-in-class quarterly statistics and reports backed by accurate data and produced in collaboration with local market stakeholders
Own US Data Intelligence vision, projects, tools, vendors and processes from inception to completion, partnering with D&T, Econometric Advisors (EA) and global Research to be the voice of data superiority in the US
Lead centralized Data Intelligence function in US Research, including off-shored functions and Data Integrity Group (DIG) in order to drive increased value and cost efficiency to the business
Establish both market level and non-market level (i.e. corporate initiative) KPIs for the Data Intelligence team
Develop process to ensure data is input into our proprietary data system correctly and consistently with guidelines, processes, policies, quality control and naming conventions
Oversee processes around data audits, automation and visualization to generate maximum ROI from our proprietary data
Reports on key metrics around the health of the market and/our market share to National Leadership (Business as well as Research) and partner with them on key national pursuits and client engagement initiatives
Partner with other parts of U.S. Research (Thought Leadership, Content & Editoral, Global Research, etc.) to evaluate opportunities to enhance value to the business and drive down costs
Manage the planning, organization, and controls for a major functional area or department.

MBA or equivelant preferred. BA/BS from a four-year college or university in economics, finance, business administration or related field of study required.
Ten or more years private sector experience in data management. Preferably in commercial real estate.
Proven management of multi-level and matrixed team critical.
Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret the most complex business documents/data.
Ability to motivate and negotiate effectively with key employees and top management to take desired action.
Requires in-depth knowledge of financial terms and principles. Reviews complex financial/business analysis and reports prepared by subordinates.
Passion for using data and data-backed content to drive superior business outcomes and decisions
Familiarity with and interest in modern data science techniques and systems.
Ability to solve advanced problems and deal with a variety of options in complex situations.
