Senior Associate -or- Director, Loan Production

The Senior Associate -or- Director, Loan Production engages in commercial mortgage loan production activities and provides underwriting, due diligence, and financial analysis for USAA Real Estate’s commercial real estate mortgage lending activities.

Essential Duties:

1. Interface with commercial mortgage brokers and borrowers and engage in business development activities.
2. Prepare detailed real estate financial analyses and financial modeling; develop models to underwrite mortgage loan investments.
3. Research and analyze market information to incorporate prudent modeling assumptions.
4. Coordinate, compile, review and summarize property-related due diligence materials. Work with brokers and borrowers on issues related to asset due diligence. Coordinate with appraisers and other due diligence vendors as required.
5. Create Commercial Mortgage Investment Committee investment briefs.
6. Maintain and input loan submissions information and provide regular reporting.
7. Train analysts, rotational analysts, and interns within the Capital Markets team.
8. Provide analytical support to Capital Markets loan closing and mortgage asset management staff as needed.
9. Additional duties as assigned.
