JOB SUMMARY As an integral member of the Surveillance Department the Portfolio Analyst - Surveillance position is highly interactive within our internal organization and will also on occasion work with master servicers, special servicers, lenders, borrowers, and loan production professionals. This position requires the ability to perform customer relationship functions, detailed financial analysis, mortgage underwriting, abstracting of loan and transactional documents, compliance and quality control, and the ability to analyze a wide spectrum of issues relating to commercial loan servicing. All duties are conducted in support of and under the supervision of the Departmental Manager. Primary responsibilities are focusing on the analysis, quality control and reporting of property level financial statements and rent rolls for CBRE's multifamily and commercial real estate loan collateral. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES Entering portfolio requirements in CBRE's financial statement tracking system Maintenance of the McCracken database for input, follow up, tracking and upper management communication. Analysis of property level operating statements for both multifamily, commercial real estate collateral, and other non-standard loans/credits. Responsible for preparation of monthly performance metrics to upper management. Ensuring compliance with the many PSA's and servicing contracts regarding delivery of statements to third parties. Interacting with CBRE's offshore provider regarding the operating statement analysis process. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEHigh School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required with a minimum of 3 years related experience. Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university preferred. One or more years of experience with underwriting or asset management of commercial real estate; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred. COMMUNICATION SKILLSAbility to communicate externally and internally among servicing personnel and clients both verbally and written. REASONING ABILITYMust be able to handle multiple tasks. Ability to work in a high stress and rapidly changing environment. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONSNone COMPUTER SKILLSMicrosoft Office applications with an emphasis on Excel.
