Job Summary
The successful candidate will work in the Digital & Technology team for Global Workplace Solutions, reporting to Head of D&T GWS LOCAL and to the President, GWS-Local Americas business.
The Head of D&T is accountable for technology strategy, delivery, service and support for the Americas, GWS-Local business within the context of CBRE Group standards and strategy. Additionally, they will be the key interface between the GWS-Local Americas business and the global D&T organisation to ensure delivery in line with the requirements of the GWS-Local Americas business.
Ideal candidates will have extensive senior level experience of running an IT service delivery operation and a customer-focused approach, with a passion for ensuring end customer satisfaction.

Role & Responsibilities
The D&T Director role is the technology leader for CBRE Americas GWS-Local business, a $1Bn revenue business, with a varied client base including many, US Fortune 500, and UK FTSE 100 companies. The role reports to Global Head of D&T, GWS Local Business and Vice President, Americas Business.
- Member of the business leadership team sharing accountability for the overall growth, profitability, and successful operation of the business.
- Creates and communicates technology strategy, vision and roadmap for the business and clients
- Accountable for client satisfaction with technology transition and ongoing provision
- Drives improvements in technology sales & solutions, including working directly with senior clients.
- Accountable for efficient team operations and transparent cost management
- Drive effective cost and risk reporting across projects and BAU activities
- Maintain the relationship between the business president and D&T and handle all D&T related activities. Be part of the North America local exec team.
- Support new bids as required from a technology perspective and be involved in Sales presentations as required
- Be instrumental in driving the rollout of our standard technology platform to all clients
- Be the link between D&T Americas and D&T Global and represent the region in terms of business requirements and input to our global strategy
- Have experience and an in-depth knowledge of delivering IT systems at an operational level including understanding of service management
- Focus on ensuring customer satisfaction both with our internal and external customers in relation to all D&T delivery
- Continuously improve the capability of the team through structured performance management, people development and high-quality recruitment
- In all activities, ensure timely completion of internal processes and mandatory training.
- Represent CBRE in a professional and positive manner at all times.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university and a minimum of eight to twelve years of related experience and/or training, including five years of experience at the management level.
