  • Job Description Summary

    Responsible to assist the Managing Principal (MP) and/or Regional President (RP) in the overall development and implementation of managed brokerage approach.

    Job Description

    Responsibilities include the following:

    • Sales Manager – direct responsibility for managing brokers with the primary goals of Brokerage business development and revenue growth
      • Recruitment and retention activities
      • Tracking top pursuits for Brokerage service lines and ensure an effective sales process is being implemented
      • Increase top line revenue year over year
      • Conduct debriefings to review pipeline and business development strategies
      • Consult with brokers and teams regularly on business plan reviews
      • Encourage broker adoption of platform resources, establish key contacts and cross-selling opportunities
      • Provide guidance on legal and contract review
      • Manage commission payment discrepancies and drive the understanding of fee sharing guidelines
      • Develop and cultivate customer relationships for long-term business opportunities
      • Resolve complex problems with internal and external customers
      • Responsible for organizing specialty group and all-hands sales meetings
      • Create and implement various training programs for brokers
      • Identify conflicts and resolution process
      • Develop and monitor an action plan to overcome deficiencies
      • Other duties as assigned

    Pipeline

    • Oversee the pipeline process
    • Ensure that producers enter pipeline deals in Engage by gathering intelligence from market meetings, debriefings, and reviewing activity reports from Marketing, Consulting, Legal, and Research
    • Monitor revenue stream and prepare forecast
    • Application Development - Interface with Platform Leaders and Information Technology on systems development to champion the needs of management and brokers
      • Ensure internal and external technology platforms are being delivered to and adopted by brokers

      • Oversight of mentorships and coaching of junior brokers
      • Research and statistical methodologies

    • Lead Internal and External Initiatives
      • Champion Employee Resource Groups (ERG’s) including CWFL
      • Responsible for leadership within external industry groups and events
      • Provide community service opportunities for team building

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or related discipline
  • 5+ years of commercial real estate, leadership, or related experience
  • Or any similar combination of education and experience
  • Demonstrated leadership ability and uncompromised ethical standards
  • Demonstrated business judgment
  • Demonstrated ability to operate and grow a profitable business unit
  • Proven record of providing excellent internal and external customer service
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Involves work of a general office nature; typically includes extended periods of sitting and/or operation of a computer for up to 8 hours a day
  • May involve periods of standing, such as operating at a copier/fax/scanner
  • Regularly required to talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to write and type
  • Ability to read and understand information and ideas presented orally and in writing
  • Ability to communicate information and ideas in writing and orally so others will understand
