As a Senior Analyst, Sales & Traffic, you will be an essential member of URW's Analysis & Insights team, responsible for providing sales and traffic reporting, along with strategic analysis, for asset management and executive-level decision making. The ideal candidate will have: strong attention to detail, an interest in (and preferably some experience in) automation and efficiencies, excellent communication skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities and a degree in business, economics, math, or a related field, and a proven track record of success.

The core responsibilities of the role are:           

  • Generate monthly and quarterly sales and traffic reporting and insights for senior management, performing regular audits to ensure data accuracy
  • Partner with centers in monthly sales collection, managing effort directly for larger retailer chains
  • Create sales and traffic ad hoc and trend analyses that enable better decision-making for asset-specific and overall corporate strategy
  • Demonstrate innovative leveraging of rich tenant sales database to derive meaningful insights, including analysis of trends and their potential impact on Westfield centers, etc.
  • Collaborate with various departments to complete reporting, providing both related training and ongoing “customer service” (e.g. Center Management, Leasing, Media Sales/Brand Ventures, etc.)
  • Contribute to build-out of self-service tools for sales and traffic data, partnering with IT on design, testing and data validation; fulfill data requests in the meantime
  • Become go-to resource for sales- and traffic-related systems: JDE E1, Mercury, TM1, Mallcomm, etc.
  • Automate and create efficiencies where possible, streamlining reporting efforts and building user-friendly reports for the field
  • Support traffic counting system upgrades and related reconciliations
  • Maintain ongoing knowledge of retail industry and overall U.S. economy; contribute to periodic reports on trends, forecasts, retailer expansion/contraction plans, etc.
