We Offer The Securitized Products (SP) team is seeking an applicant based in New York City to assist with the development, implementation, and improvement of SP's strategy, operations, new business and controls. As a team member you will assist in capital planning, balance sheet forecasting, allocation, and optimization. You will assist with financial planning, budget management, cost benefit analysis and P&L allocations. The applicant will partner with management, including with regulators and internal partners. On a daily basis the applicant will remain focused on managing and mitigating operational risk, and improving and applying policies and procedures. Your future colleagues The Securitized Products (SP) Group within the Investment Bank finances, underwrites, and trades a variety of assets including, but not limited to, residential mortgage loans, commercial real estate loans, consumer receivables, and securities backed by such assets. The COO team supports the SP global business to help drive efficacy and efficacy of business processes. List of skills and experience we are looking for:
At least 1-3 years of experience in Fixed Income Markets or finance and securities activities
Ability to work independently and as a teammate
Enthusiasm for learning, problem solving, and driving solutions
Proven analytical and model building skills
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels - junior to very senior
Ability to timely deliver against ad hoc requests
Work ethics that include flexibility, dedication, and a strong sense of ownership and ability to prioritize and multitask
Advanced Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills a must
Series 7, 79, 63 preferred, but not require
