As a Technical Manager, Digital and Technology, you will be a catalyst in strategic digital transformation initiatives. You will be part of an agile team, influence technology decisions across the organization, and help deliver solutions to world-class, global platforms.
Key Job Responsibilities * Effectively work across both business and technology teams to conceptualize and develop delivery plans for high impact programs across CBRE Digital and Technology Initiatives. * Conduct interviews, hire and train new IT staff * Provide guidance and insight to upper management and procure buy-in * Report progress, including any changes made to plans and production * Contribute to product design and establishment of requirements * Delegate technical responsibilities and monitor the progress of projects * Deliver products consistently, on time, and on budget * Oversee user testing and report results--adjust requirements as needed * Work closely with project manager during all phases of the development lifecycle * Review all work produced by the development team * Ensure code produced meets company standards
Required Qualifications * 4-year degree required in computer science, information technology, or related field. * Master's Degree is a plus * 2-3 years of management experience in a technology-oriented organization, ideally in an agile setting * Preferably comes from a technology or software development background * Solid working knowledge in web ,data and message driven software and programming environment * Excellent knowledge of Agile delivery frameworks, public cloud technologies, DevOps practices * Strong ability to identify and resolve issues, manage risk, and communicate impacts to timeline, scope, and costs. * Exceptional communication and reporting skills * Outstanding leadership skills and ability to delegate responsibilities effectively Soft Skills * An exceptional communicator * Strong analytical abilities across business and technology * Ability to work comfortably within a complex environment with rapid changes in requirements, direction, and environment * Demonstrated ability to think creatively and strategically when implementing projects and solving problems * Technically savvy and able to ramp up on new technologies quickly * Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences * Able to assertively dig into the business requirements and drill into the project-specific details * Self-starter and proactive attitude * Highly organized * Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
