Principal Real Estate Investors (PrinREI) provides private equity asset management services for client portfolios. The Asset Management Group is actively involved in all stages of the investment life cycle including ground-up development or redevelopment, the acquisition and disposition process, and oversight of property management and leasing. Asset managers participate in developing the investment strategy and tactical plan for each property and have primary responsibility for its execution.
PrinREI is looking for an Asset Manager or Sr Asset Management Analyst to join their team. In this role, you’ll perform advanced support and analysis for leasing transactions, property re-positioning activities, development projects, asset valuations and capital client reporting.
Other things you’ll do:
Interact closely with a Senior Asset Manager(s)/Regional Director as well as local market contacts including property managers, leasing agents, and capital markets/transaction brokers, to develop budgets, business plans, and assist with deal underwriting.
Reporting: Create and maintain asset valuations and assist with analysis and preparation for client presentations.
Investment Management: Contribute to the analysis and preparation related to Investment Committee recommendations and presentations.
Participate in the quarterly portfolio management reporting process.
Assist in all aspects of investment management and investment production for assigned properties including core, value add, and development activities.
Leadership: Under the direction of an experienced Asset Manager or Regional Director, play a leadership role in meeting capital client needs, communicating client objectives to staff, and recommending strategies.
The qualifications listed are for the Sr Asset Management Analyst role. Will consider at the Asset Manager level based on skills and experience.
We’re looking for someone with:
Bachelor’s degree with evidence of a strong background in finance, mathematics, economics or business and preferably real estate.
1+ year of real estate experience. (3+ years’ experience is preferred)
Cumulative 3.25 GPA or higher is preferred.
Argus software knowledge is preferred.

Strong analytical skills, technical and detail orientation, and can read, interpret, and understand contracts and other legal documents.
Travel to assigned markets (approximately 4-8 times per year) to learn markets, meet with partners, fee managers, etc. and inspect managed properties.
