Investor Services is a new and quickly growing team at Juniper Square that is responsible for building out new lines of business for our customers. We are seeking a Team Manager to hire, train and coach a fast-growing, customer-facing team of individual contributors and make a direct impact as we deliver administration solutions, payments and compliance services to our customers. This is a newly created role to join a fast-growing team within a Series C company that addresses one of the largest sectors of the U.S. economy. This role will report to the Senior Manager, Investor Services.
We are looking for someone who is strategic, innovative, and has strong people management skills to help us out build out processes for our new Deal Administration service. What you’ll do
Hire, train and manage a team of customer-facing individual contributors
Handle customer escalations and drive customer satisfaction
Interface directly with clients where needed to deliver an outstanding client experience
Review the team’s work to ensure client deliverables are accurate and provided on-time
Identify areas of improvement in our processes and procedures; lead internal and cross-functional efforts to improve these workflows
Build systems and process to ensure we are tracking important team and customer data
Collaborate with Fund Accounting, Customer Experience and other teams at the company to ensure we are providing a best-in-class experience to our customers
Identify product development opportunities and work with Product Managers where appropriate
6+ years of relevant work experience in Customer Success or Strategy & Operations at a hyper growth tech or start-up company
3+ years of experience hiring, managing, and developing a customer facing team
High level of integrity and desire to consistently do the right thing for our customers and for the business
Able to quickly understand financial and / or quantitative concepts
Empathetic manager who leads by example
Systems thinker, with ability to both see the big picture and quickly master the details
Skilled at building relationships at all levels of the organization
Collaborates with humility and leads without ego
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including comfort with presenting to senior executives and ability to change communication style based on audience
Ability to be a self-starter: you identify problems and take ownership of finding and implementing solutions
Highly flexible and adaptable to change; able to handle multiple projects at once while staying close to the details
