As a member of the Tenant Coordination team, the Design Associate’s role is to generate high-quality renderings and 3D modeling as required.
Essential Job Functions:
Collaborate with the Design, Leasing, Tenant Coordination, and/or CAD project team members to create high-quality preliminary conceptual design and photorealistic renderings using 3D modeling and rendering software.
Ability to interpret design intent from written or verbal descriptions from the project team including but not limited to, storefront prototype adaptations, generic lighting design, generic landscaping design, etc.
Maintain material library for rendering projects.
Maintain archive library for completed renderings and models.
All other duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree and 1 year work experience or 3 years work experience as a photorealistic renderer in the Graphic Design, Architecture, Interior Design, Environmental Design, or related field.
Extensive proficiency in SketchUp, Photoshop, and Lumion is required.
The current software being utilized is Lumion, but would consider applicants with proficiency in VRay, Unreal, or Corona equally.
Experience in 3Ds Max is preferred.
Experience with AutoCAD and/or Revit is preferred in relation to converting models to SketchUp as needed.
Knowledge with Adobe InDesign is preferred.
Familiar with architectural and design building material applications in order to efficiently execute design intent.
