As part of the Real Estate Loan Investments team, the Senior Commercial Analyst / Loan Closer will be responsible for facilitating the closing process from contract finalization to funding. This role is also responsible for providing support for commercial real estate lending transactions and handling communication between internal and external closing parties.
??? Facilitate the commercial loan closing process for complex contracts and closings. Work directly with lender legal counsel, mortgage banker, the borrower and/or their legal counsel/representative to ensure a timely closing to meet lender and statutory requirements.
??? Review and approve required third party reports and all due diligence associated with the loan closing in accordance with industry standards and lender guidelines. Communicate any potential risk and or issues that may arise during the closing process to management. Makes decisions, recommendations and provides guidance for additional documentation as applicable.
??? Provide effective communications, written and verbal, with all closing parties. Properly maintain all correspondence and documents to protect the lenders interest/security. Follow up and transition post-closing items to the loan closing documents to Loan Administration/Servicing.
??? Prepare documentation for commercial real estate mortgage loans e.g., applications, rate lock letters, consent letters as necessary. Process applications in accordance with the lender's loan processing procedures and checklist.
??? Maintain correspondence and documents related to the loan application process. Maintain loan commitment tracking database and transition closing items and loan applications to loan closers.
??? Provide outstanding customer service and display a positive attitude at all times.
??? Complete special projects and participate in various department initiatives as assigned.
??? Minimum of Associates degree with 2+ years of commercial mortgage closing or equivalent experience. ??? Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. ??? Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail.
Bachelor's Degree or Paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program
