To develop and manage commercial loan accounts which meet established lending requirements and provide maximum profitability to the bank with a minimum of risk; to cross-sell other bank services and products.
Solicits commercial loans and commercial real estate loans.
Obtains necessary documentation related to loan applications.
Prepares loans for presentation to Loan Committee.
Performs credit and financial analysis of loan applications.
Services all types of commercial and commercial real estate loans including but not limited to obtaining current financial information, obtaining insurance and tax information, collecting past due payments.
Develops new business by contacting prospects and customers.
Counsels with and assists in the training and development of Commercial Loan Representatives.
Cross sells bank products and services.
Interviews loan applicants and collects and analyzes financial and related data to determine the general creditworthiness of the prospect and the merits of the specific loan request.
Establishes and negotiates where necessary the terms under which credit will be extended, including the costs, repayment method and schedule and collateral requirements.
Monitors loan repayment activities and takes necessary action to collect from past due accounts.
Performs other duties and special projects as needed.
May provide functional supervision for loan administrative personnel.
Cross trains and supports other positions as needed.
Salary commensurate with experience and production.
Four Year College degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field of study.
Three to five years of experience.
Credit Analysis training.
Familiarity with loan documentation and compliance regulations.
Excellent customer service skills.
Knowledge of bank products.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Attention to detail.
Ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple clients.
