EPR Properties in Kansas City has retained us to conduct a search for a business development professional to be Director or Vice President – Investments for the premier experiential REIT in the country.  Consumer spending on experiences is rising rapidly in the US and has produced one of the fastest growing asset classes in commercial real estate today. The final candidate will work with business partners in such national business as: cinemas, casinos, live entertainment venues, themed resorts and hotels, ski slopes, Topgolf, fitness/wellness, and cultural attractions.
  
Kansas City-based, the position will involve relationship building and transaction sourcing, travel, deal structuring and negotiation, with support from an experienced investments team.  Your background and sales skills in establishing and growing client relationships will position the company as a preferred capital partner in the experiential leisure and recreation industry.  

Fully qualified candidates will have at least 5-10 years of experience with a demonstrated ability and passion for seeking out and developing new business relationships and selling. Some background structuring and negotiating transactions will be helpful. Experience in the commercial real estate industry is desirable, but not required.  This could include identifying and structuring complex commercial transactions across a range of asset types, and origination, underwriting and/or closing.  Our client seeks intellectual curiosity, imagination, and a passion to create unique client solutions.

• Ability to travel domestically and internationally
• Required travel 30-50 days per year on average

Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent); MBA or Masters in Real Estate a plus.
