As the Corporate Event Specialist, you will execute details related to all specific Brivo tradeshows and events. We are seeking a highly energetic individual who is talented at managing multiple priorities, and works well across teams to understand specific market priorities to ensure events deliver best in class experiences. This is a highly visible role that requires extensive project management skills, a high level of professionalism and willingness to handle planning, execution and administrative details of corporate events. The ideal candidate will thrive in a challenging and fast-paced atmosphere where prioritizing and multitasking are the norm. Exceptional attention to detail and top-notch organizational skills are necessary to excel in this role.
You will also be expected to:
Work cross functionally with the Marketing, Product Management and Sales Teams to plan and execute all assigned corporate events.
Liaise with vendors, show management, and stakeholders during the event planning process to ensure everything is in order.
Provide consistent communication and follow-ups to key stakeholders with regular updates, by developing a transparent planning process (complete with budgets, timelines and deadlines) to drive program awareness and alignment to include pre and post-show recaps.
Coordinate event logistics including, but not limited to, food & beverage requirements, room blocks, technical provisioning, vendor coordination, pre-event logistics and operational details and on-site event management.
Lead the efforts for selected onsite operations at trade shows.
Develop and maintain solid relationships with colleagues, show personnel and vendors.
Manage assigned event budgets and provide feedback on spending per show based on previous events, suggest areas for savings, re-investment or additional investment.
Manage onsite lead capture efforts, including working with staff and vendors, and assist the department in meeting business objectives for lead generation from all assigned events.
Support other company and marketing initiatives as necessary
2-3+ years tradeshow and/or event experience in a B2B role with emphasis in a Corporate Events and Tradeshows environment
Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
Strong communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills; highly adaptable and comfortable in high-pressure situations with a proven track record of working with internal and external personnel
Experience with MCLs, MQLs and SALs metrics and lead conversion process.
A self-starter with a proactive attitude and flexibility with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Available to travel to events as needed (up to 20%)
