• A key senior role within the Transactions Vertical of Citi Realty Services (CRS), a part of EOT. 
• Supporting the Americas Transactions Head to ensure interface between transaction managers and internal stakeholders is running smoothly. 
• Responsible to coordinate operational activities between/among the 4 Transactional Verticals (Retail East, Retail West, LATMEX, NAM Office/Operations)  and to organize/assist in tracking  performance metrics. 
• Partners with Americas Transactions Head to ensure that strategic priorities are well defined.
• Helps drive critical projects. 
• Partners with Americas Transactions Head on city-strategy locations, new CSC initiatives and other complex real estate transactions/strategic planning.  
• Lead transaction manager for complex  non-retail real estate.
• Coordinates closely with Global Transaction Initiatives colleague to insure the implementation of global strategies.
• Management of a small team of transaction managers for office and operations transactions across NAM.
• Responsible for the day to day interaction with brokers and landlords on acquisition, disposition and leasing functions.
• Ensures real estate transactions are coordinated and managed centrally in order to ensure negotiation parameters and the transactions process are cost-effective and designed to provide favorable shareholder return and adhere to CRS process and legal/compliance requirements.
• Develops and executes transaction practices and structures to meet CRS goals for footprint reduction and productivity. 
• Works in concert with the project management and governance & control office to implement processes to achieve quality real estate transactions for Citi. 
• Collaborates with Project, Asset and Building management teams. 
• Maximizes return on investment and/or minimize expense while following Citi policies & practices. 
• Implements common standards, process and reporting capabilities across Transactions team in all sub-regions. 
• Coordinates with Global Transaction management to implement consistency and transparency with other Regional practices. 
• Responsible for adherence to global financial standards in the structure and approval of transactions. 
• Key interface with accounting policy, IEP preparation, legal and control management. 
• Manages and evaluate transaction success based upon performance metrics.
• Interface with CRS and key business stakeholders as well as critical support resources (Finance, Procurement & Commercial Legal group) to negotiate the best possible terms & conditions to protect the franchise and minimize expense/maximize return on investment.
• Works with Finance to properly reflect the accounting, tax and economic impacts of alternatives on Citi books.
• Optimizes space utilization through collaboration with design and construction to incorporate needs analysis, workplace and engineering standards, planning models and interior fit out specifications.
• Develop a new metrics driven performance management culture in the organization.  
• Assist in the development and implementation of a strategic real estate plan for each critical market based on CRS & business objectives for optimizing the portfolio on a global basis.

• 15 plus years of corporate regional transaction management experience
• 15 years + of working with senior finance partners within a financial services institution
• 15 + years of strategic oversight and accountability
• 15 + years of multi-layered managerial and direct report experience

Education:

• Bachelors degree, potentially Masters degree
