USC Price School of Public Policy is seeking an Academic Program Administrator. This is a full-time position and reports to the Academic Program Manager of the Wilbur H. Smith III Department of Real Estate Development. The Academic Program Administrator administers academic program services and activities, managing day-to-day needs (e.g., advising, scheduling, meetings) and contributing to short- and long-term program strategies for the Bachelor, Master, Certificate of Real Estate Development (e.g., curriculum development). Supports the management of these programs with operations and administrative functions.
This position is a hybrid work arrangement.
Responsibilities:
Supports the management with the day-to-day administration of the Real Estate Development academic programs and activities, including the admissions, orientation, academic, career, course scheduling, and other student and alumni service needs. Addresses program-related questions and resolves problems.
Works closely with Program Manager and Program Director to develop relationships with employers, organizations, and alumni to plan career development programs and recruitment opportunities for current students. Stays current with real estate labor market and recruiting trends and maintains active network of professional contacts.Â
Provides academic counseling for undergraduate and/or graduate students. Advises on matters of curriculum, course and degree requirements, transfer credit evaluation, and graduation counseling and clearance. Monitors student progress in honors and probation programs.
Supports the planning and development of program objectives, curriculum, and content. Develops and administers program operating and administrative policies and procedures with the consultation of the Academic Program Manager. Serves as a key academic program resource and subject matter expert (SME). Assists with workshops and training development/delivery.
Aids in budget and resource allocations. Administers program budgeting and accounting processes, collects and analyzing data, and providing reports on program performance and finances as directed or requested. Provides financial status reports as requested.
Drafts and/or generates relevant student and programmatic communication items and coordinates the production and dissemination of documents.
Qualifications:
Must have experience working with graduate and undergraduate students at USC
Should have knowledge of the commercial real estate industry
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to work with highly confidential information with discretion.
Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint).
Preferred Education: Masters degree
Preferred Experience: 5 years of similar work and knowledge of the Commercial Real Estate industry proficient with USC Systems
The annual base salary range for this position is $76,019 - $95,000. Proven ability to plan, implement, and coordinate program logistics. Demonstrated database/data entry experience. Proven project management and problem solving skills, able to handle multiple timelines, changing priorities, and fluctuating workloads.
