National Retail Properties is seeking an Information Security Analyst to join our corporate team in Downtown Orlando.
Our new Information Security Analyst will plan, implement, upgrade, administer and monitor the company’s security posture and protocols for the protection of the corporate network, data and technology assets. Make recommendations and take appropriate measures to identify, protect, detect, respond and recover to security threats.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain, administer and monitor information security systems, sensors, software, dashboards, reporting and services to ensure appropriate functionality across all company assets.
Perform risk assessments, audits, and tests to ensure proper functioning of data processing activities with implemented and proposed security measures.
Recommend, coordinate, facilitate and participate in periodic vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing.
Coordinate and participate in incident response testing that includes purple team, red team or tabletop exercises.
Create, coordinate, lead and participate in remediation tasks for identified security risks keeping detailed documentation.
Maintain, update and recommend application and policy documentation for company security measures and strategies.
Serve as IT lead for cyber event and incident investigations to rapidly respond, detect, isolate and contain any potential threats.
Prepare reports for the company’s cyber security status.
Lead security initiatives and risk assessment for protected and encrypted access, storage and transfer of company information.
Participate in annual disaster planning and recovery testing.
Administer periodic phishing tests to company associates.
Create and update SIEM dashboards to aid in proactive monitoring and visibility into
Conduct periodic cyber security awareness training for company associates.
Monitor, assess and keep abreast of existing and evolving cyber threats and technology advancements can address operational needs and challenges.
Evaluate all operational initiatives and make recommendations to align goals and new implementations with company security profile and protocols.
Participate in Sarbanes Oxley audits and acting as liaison with the Internal Auditors.
Actively manages vendor and consultant relationships for security systems, software and services in use.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related course of study with a focus on cyber security
2-3 years related experience in cyber security
In-depth knowledge of Information Systems, business processes, risk management and project management
Ability to multi-task and understand underlying processes and systems
Good working knowledge of infosec frameworks such as MITRE ATTCK and NIST
