Optima Engineering is hiring a full-time Project Administrator in our Charlotte office. As a Project Administrator you’ll be responsible for supporting our project teams throughout our three offices. This position is a key member to the success of our projects, clients and partners. This position requires someone who is detailed-oriented, flexible, enjoys working with a team as well as the ability to accomplish tasks independently.

This role is a full-time, salaried position. Optima Engineering offers a generous overall compensation package. RESPONSIBILITIES
This role is responsible for supporting project teams in a variety of ways including but not limited to:
Managing Plan Review & Permitting process for multiple projects in different jurisdictions
Assist Project Managers throughout project lifecycle, from initial client requirements to closeout
Collaborate with Project Teams on Contract Administration (front-end specifications, bid posting, bid opening & tabulations, coordination of Owner/Contractor Agreements, assistance with payment applications, change orders, etc.)
Review Client Agreements and coordinate execution with Management
Develop and manage Consultant Agreements to align with Client (Prime) Agreements
Certificate of Insurance compliance for Clients & Consultants
Specifications formatting and assistance
May assist with travel coordination for project visits
May provide occasional backup with setting up and invoicing projects
Other related tasks as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
These are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required to successfully perform this role:
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite & PDF software (Bluebeam & Adobe)
Familiarity with AIA Contract Document Series
Familiarity with Ajera (preferred)
Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Professionalism with client interactions
Able to problem-solve & navigate various government processes for different jurisdictions
Strong positive communication skills and work ethic
Adaptability and able to follow-up and ensure execution of tasks
Solid organizational skills including attention to detail
Bachelor’s degree, other college level education, or equivalent relevant experience
3+ years of experience in A/E/C industry performing similar role
