GPI is seeking an experienced, full-time Proposal Manager to join our Metro DC Operation. Hybrid position with two days flex and three days in office (either Rockville, MD; Olney, MD; or Fairfax, VA). The candidate should be collaborative, organized, detail-oriented, have excellent communication skills, enjoy being challenged, and work well in a fast-paced, team environment.
Responsibilities
Prepare proposals in coordination with GPI’s Engineers in response to RFP’s and RFQ’s.
Maintain and coordinate proposal schedules and ensure high quality proposal responses while meeting all deadlines.
Maintain understanding of our proposal response strategies as they evolve and develop methods for capturing evolving bid strategies in proposals.
Review proposal drafts and final versions to ensure accuracy and GPI brand standards.
Maintain proposal tracking and proposal file management.
Collateral preparation.
Maintain data including project past performance, resumes, references, and client database.

Qualifications
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) with a strong eye for visually appealing layouts. InDesign a plus.
Demonstrated skills, knowledge, and experience in the design and execution of proposal writing.
Excellent interpersonal skills, writing skills, communication and presentation skills including the ability to effectively communicate cross-functionally with various levels of the organization.
Excellent project coordination skills, with ability to track multiple simultaneous projects and deliverables, and handle pressure in a positive manner.
Professional attire required.
Own transportation required to handle occasional requirements between Metro DC offices.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Technical Writing, or similar-related subject.
Minimum four years of experience performing similar functions in a professional organization. It is preferred that experience be in the architecture, interior design, construction, engineering, or commercial real estate industry.
