Position Overview:
LightBox is a data and technology company in the Commercial Real Estate industry. We are currently looking for a Solutions Engineer to join our rapidly growing team! The Solutions Engineer will be the technical partner to the Account Executive and a trusted advisor to our prospects, who will promote faster and predictable solution closures by improving the overall solution, quality of deals, and increased revenue. The Solutions Engineer responsibilities include, but are not limited to, supporting the Field Sales team with prospects and existing customers in all aspects of customer management, solution selling (with both in-person and online meetings), proposal writing, product demonstrations and solution development within the assigned vertical. The Solutions Engineer will report directly to the Director of Solutions Engineering.
The role requires partnering and collaboration with the Account Executives to educate, demonstrate and evangelize the merits of our solution sets. You will be responsible for the entire evaluation process of the sale, guiding, providing best practices and providing support, to bring the evaluation to a successful end and move the opportunity to financial closure.
What you will do and achieve:
Front line technical problem solver, who defines, evaluates and successfully closes the issue
Participates in technical calls and meetings with prospects and clients
Voices customer feedback and suggestions to LBA product managers for product enhancements
Comfortably navigates the Parcel and Property data discussion highlighting the strengths, downplaying the weaknesses and communicates why the data is what it is
Develops API samples, generates SQL reports and performs match and append services during the sales cycle to prove out
Instills client confidence in LightBox technical staff and capabilities by being a technical expert and evangelist for LBA LightBox product suite
Understands the assigned vertical segments personas, general pain points, and other solutions to bring forth compelling and valuable LightBox solutions
Coaching the AE on proposed solutions and assists the AE to understand the technical aspects
Attending regional and national trade shows and conventions to support Field Sales efforts
Communicate and document through Salesforce

Who you are:
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in related field
Experience
3+ years of experience in Location Intelligence, Big Data, SaaS, and/or the API integration business model
Key Knowledge & Skills
Excellent communication skills. Clear concise writing style and comfortable in front of audiences, including senior level executives
Project management skills to organize many opportunities and evaluations
General programming skills
