Position Overview:
LightBox is a data and technology company in the Commercial Real Estate industry. We are currently looking for a Financial Data and Analytics Manager to join our rapidly growing team! This position will own the design and expansion of the LightBox Financial Planning & Reporting tools. They will be responsible for managing consolidations of the LightBox P&L on a monthly and quarterly basis as well as develop key reporting, shared with internal and external shareholders. They will act as the liaison between Financial Systems and FP&A on all matters including developing and tracking actionable KPI’s, supporting accurate forecasting and improving reporting solutions.
What you will do and achieve:
- Own the design, development, and maintenance of LightBox Financial Planning & Reporting solution
- Support and migrate sophisticated legacy Excel models to a more robust tool
- Simplify and automate reporting; build solutions that have maximum scale and self-service ability by stakeholders
- Build model to consolidate monthly LightBox P&L performance to enable key reporting & KPI’s for management
- Partner with stakeholders to identify, design, and implement process & technical improvements
- Build and maintain balanced scorecard and KPI reporting monthly
- Build integrations with various disparate systems bringing together various data sources and enabling new analysis
- Act as a thought partner for business users
- Expand and leverage reporting capabilities in Intacct
- This is an exempt position with the yearly salary range between $80K to $100K with bonus based on a 40-hour work week.
Who you are:
Education
- BS Degree in Computer Science, Business, or Finance
Experience
- 5+ years of financial data modeling
- 5+ years of analytical experience
- Experience in BI a plus
- Experience in SaaS preferred
Key Knowledge & Skills
- Advanced level skills in Microsoft Excel, Power Query (Get & Transform), Power Pivot
- Experience implementing and building models in Financial Budgeting & Reporting Tools (E.g., Adaptive Planning, Anaplan, Vena, etc.)
- Experience working with modern BI tools (E.g., PowerBI, Looker, Tableau, etc.)
- Understanding of ETL tools and fundamentals
- Experience with Sage Intacct a plus
