The purpose of this position is to provide space & occupancy planning, assist with space and utilization data analysis, CAD/CAFM system support and management, data mining/analysis, reporting, and interpretation of space planning metrics.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Attends client meetings to collect requirements, provide metrics, and present findings, and recommendations. Obtains approvals to proceed when required.
Analyzes space requirements and supports in providing conceptual space plans and recommendations to real estate team(s) and/or stakeholders and prepares block or stack plan(s).
Collaborates with other team members to gain business intelligence. Responsible for occupancy data within the system of record. May be required to manage space walks for validation and update of occupancy metrics.
Produces drawings and presentations for internal stakeholder(s) and client-facing steering committee meetings (Workplace Managers, Business Unit Directors, Leadership, etc.) for review and feedback; involves project management staff as appropriate for move and construction services.
Works with the OM team to incorporate analytics into appropriate reporting
Perform poly lining in AutoCAD to floorplans to reflect existing architectural and furniture conditions and prepare for CAFM uploads as needed.
Responsible to manage furniture updates or act as liaison with furniture vendors to ensure data and drawings accuracy in the CAFM/ IWMS system of record.
Acts as a single point of contact for relevant systems/processes in subject teams and day-to-day functions.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from a 4-year college or university. Master's degree preferred. Minimum three years of experience directly related to the delivery of strategic planning services; or equivalent combination of education and experience. AutoCAD drawing experience is required. CAFM software experience is preferred.
CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES
Professional Registration in Architecture or Interior Design is preferred. Certification in Corporate Real Estate, LEED, or Facilities Management is preferred.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable, and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information.
FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE
Requires knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and/or commissions. Conducts basic financial analysis.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires intermediate analytical and quantitative skills.
OTHER SKILLS and/or ABILITIES
Proficient with MS Office Suite (MS Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel). Familiar with system furniture design and modular furniture while demonstrating knowledge and adherence to building regulations and health & safety guidelines. Ability to provide efficient, timely, and reliable service to client(s). Ability to present information in an effective way. High attention to detail. Ability to respond effectively to sensitive issues. Ability to collaborate, problem-solve, and multi-task. Ability to adapt to change when necessary.
