Position Overview: LightBox is a data and technology company in the Commercial Real Estate industry. We are looking for an experienced and analytical Vice President of Sales Operations and Management, reporting to the Managing Director, Enterprise data. This person will have strong deal, strategy, and relationship management experience to drive day-to-day activities and operations of the Enterprise Data sales team including growing data subscription revenue.
The role requires an effective leader with experience and passion leading and building sales teams, as well as in-depth knowledge and understanding of their market and competitive products. They must be excellent communicators with excellent customer service skills who can quickly navigate any situation to reach desired goals. This is a highly visible role within LightBox that has a direct impact on our P&L.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and execute revenue, budget and forecasting targets
Define sales processes that drive desired sales outcomes and identify improvements where and when required
Partner with leaders in Marketing, Sales Engineering, Professional Services, Product and other key functions to drive results from pre-funnel through customer expansion and retention
Manage quarterly business reviews for data sales and account management
Build productive and professional relationships with key leaders within target firms and maintain high awareness / understanding of LightBox’s data products
Responsible for large volume of contract negotiations pertaining to the licensing of data and services
Represent LightBox in external meetings with executives from other companies as well as industry events and conferences
Maintain awareness of, and participate in all relevant training for, new products and capabilities, and market them to account base/prospects
Who you are:
8+ years of sales, business development or relationship management at a leading SaaS and data
Proven success in driving growth objectives and meeting retention targets
Deep domain expertise in the data ecosystem including how spatial and non-spatial data is utilized within multiple industries
Self-sufficient, focused leader with a propensity towards executing and driving revenue results
Strong relationship management skills
Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with an ability to speak effectively to business development leaders, executives, product managers and lawyers
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Must be able to prioritize and multi-task with special attention to detail and follow-up
Ability to run quickly with little supervision and adapt to a fast-paced environment
Proficient in Microsoft Excel with the ability to perform analysis across multi-facets contracts
Salesforce.com and PC proficiency
Preference for history of existing relationships in the commercial real estate space with intimate knowledge of inner works of the major firms
BA/BS degree
Ideally located close to our Irvine, CA, Carlsbad, CA, or New York, NY office.
This is an exempt position within the $180K to $240K salary/hour range based on a 40-hour work week.
