Job Description
What will be your exposure?
Oversee project delivery for our major advisory services including but not limited to the sustainability/ESG framework development, sustainability/ ESG reporting, sustainability ratings, carbon neutrality, climate risk, green finance, etc.
Conduct quality control on project deliverables and maintain client expectations throughout project delivery
Lead the team to support clients in achieving sustainability objectives by providing recommendations to enhance clients' sustainability/ ESG strategy, framework, and related tools
Support the team to manage client relationships, and drive business development efforts including preparing service proposals and delivery of presentations
Grow and manage the team through recruitment, development, coaching, and performance management
What are we looking for?
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies (Engineering, Science or Management), Business, Translation, relevant qualifications demonstrating understanding of sustainability; Master's degree in a related field is preferred
Minimum 4 years of relevant professional experience from a management consultancy, financial services firm, rating agency, in-house corporate sustainability role, or other relevant private-sector roles with an ESG reporting advisory, carbon accounting, climate-related services, with demonstrated experience completing/ leading ESG or sustainability projects
Strong current knowledge in one or more of the following: ESG frameworks, ESG due diligence, carbon auditing and target setting, international financial reporting standards, ESG rating, ESG assurance and/or green finance
Extensive experience in project management including planning, organizing, coordinating and managing project teams and clients toward the successful completion of a project
Strong command of spoken and written English and Chinese
Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills with good attention to details
Motivated by working on complex challenges in a fast-paced, high-growth, dynamic work environment
Capacity to work across different time zones and to hold meetings outside of regular local working hours
