Commercial Real Estate ("CRE") Debt Overview
PIMCO invests in real estate debt opportunities through the flagship PIMCO Commercial Real Estate Debt Funds ("PCRED I" and "PCRED II"), closed-end funds focused on traditional bridge lending throughout the U.S. In addition to the PCRED funds, the CRE debt team also invests in real estate debt opportunities through other credit strategies with capital flexibility up and down the CRE debt risk spectrum.
The firm's U.S. real estate debt team sources, underwrites, and invests along the entire debt capital stack including senior mortgages, mezzanine financing, CMBS, and preferred equity. The team benefits from a flexible pool of capital with the ability to invest across asset types, geographies, and the capital structure. The CRE Debt Team works closely with senior members across the organization to assist in organizing, underwriting, and executing CRE debt transactions.

Job Description
PIMCO is seeking a Commercial Real Estate ("CRE") Vice President ("VP") to join the US PIMCO Commercial Real Estate team who will primarily focus on asset management of CRE debt assets.
While the Asset Management VP will primarily work closely with Asset Management leadership, he/she may be called upon to work with members of the CRE team to assist in underwriting and execution of real estate transactions.
Responsibilities
Assist in the ongoing asset management of a portfolio of debt investments to maximize value and minimize risk
Build and enhance asset management reporting, portfolio analytical activities, and stress testing
Ability to interpret loan documents
Proactively work with external partners including borrowers, co-lenders, attorneys, servicers and third-party consultants
Ability to communicate detailed investment performance information to internal and external parties
Perform property site inspections (travel where required)
Structure, underwrite and seek approval for loan modifications
Manage collateral valuation/re-underwriting process
Coordinate setup of loans internally and work closely with third party servicing team
Assist in capital market activities with leverage providers
Requirements
5-10 years of relevant real estate experience in underwriting, asset management, legal or servicing
Exceptional financial modeling skills, proficiency in Argus, and strong writing abilities
Prior experience working with/reviewing loan documents
Outstanding academic credentials and demonstrated leadership capabilities
Strong work ethic and integrity; candidate should be a team player who is proactive and self-motivated
Strong analytical, interpersonal communication, and writing skills
Ability to work effectively on multiple projects simultaneously
PIMCO follows a total compensation approach when rewarding employees which includes a base salary and a discretionary bonus. Base salary is the fixed component of compensation that is determined by core job responsibilities, relevant experience, internal level, and market factors. The discretionary bonus is used to award performance and therefore is determined by company, business, team, and individual performance.
Salary Range: $ 200,000.00 - $ 235,000.00
