Assistant Golf Course Superintendent
  Hillcrest Golf Course is an 18 hole public golf course located along the Blue River Greenway in the heart of Kansas City.  Hillcrest originally was a private country club that was established in 1899.  In 1912 the world renowned Scottish golf course architect Donald Ross, who also designed famous championship courses at Pinehurst, Oakland Hills, and Oak Hill, began to design Hillcrest on its current location.  Ross's design placed Hillcrest amongst the secluded rolling hills, glades, and beautiful hardwood forests of the Blue River.  The country club opened for play in 1916.  Some of the most famous golfers in history have set foot at Hillcrest including Sam Snead, Ben Hogan, Gene Sarazen, Byron Nelson, and Arnold Palmer to name a few.   Hillcrest has been owned by Price Manage
