The Research Analyst plays a key role in supporting commercial real estate broker transactions with geographic information, marketing materials, market contacts and maintenance, website and data point access, internal track record organization, as well as some administrative duties. The position is responsible for executing the research, data collection and maintenance, and marketing mission of the National Net Lease Group, which is to provide the best research, data management, and marketing support in our industry. This position consults with retail commercial real estate brokers daily on best practices in the industry and organizes all projects into efficient, time managed processes to meet deadlines in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. The Research Associate synthesizes internal and market data into deliverable formats that can be readily consumed by brokers, clients, and other SRS team members.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in maintaining internal database of SRS historical transactions and publicly available market data
- Consolidate & organize internal data into a single CRM system (Salesforce)
- Core Research: Researches, gathers, and organizes data to create market report deliverables
- Create nationwide market research reports for property listings and assignments based on templates
- Actively communicate and participate with local graphic design team, national research team, analysts, marketing team, and leadership to learn and contribute to the research best practices of SRS
- Actively learn and use the templates and tools provided by the marketing team
- Ensure all communications, presentations, collateral, and other deliverables enhance the NNLG brand and are in line with the corporate brand guidelines and precedents
- Assist and maintain multiple NNLG websites and marketing platforms along with the marketing team
- Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
- Independent problem solver/consultant
- Strong knowledge of the commercial real estate industry and basic economic knowledge
- Commanding knowledge of data collection and presentation standards/practices
- Must have strong writing, communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
- Must have ability to multi-task and participate within a team environment
- Strong attention to detail with excellent writing skills, as well as organizational and project management skills
- Must have ability to conduct extensive/exhaustive research via the internet and other channels
- Experience with various market data websites & services such as Costar, Crexi, Loopnet, ArcGIS, Placer.ai is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field with high academic achievement is strongly preferred
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook)
